The Perspektiva Economic Centre was part of the Resolution on National Development Projects for 2007–2023. The RDA Green Karst was in charge of executing a public contract for the implementation of a feasibility study for this project.

RDA Green Karst was also responsible for encouraging intensive communication between entrepreneurs and municipalities from the region on one side and the Ministry of the Economy on the other. A parent feasibility study for the Perspektiva Economic Centre and two feasibility studies for the identified Green Karst Park and Business and Industrial Zone subprojects were carried out.

In July 2010, the Ministry of Economy published a public call for tenders for the establishment of Centres for the Development of the Slovenian Economy; the chosen tenderer was a consortium of companies, originating from the activities related to the establishment of the Perspektiva Economic Centre. As a result, two initiatives have been implemented: the Development Centre INTECH-LESand the Business Incubator Perspektiva.
