Description
The MEDOSSIC project (Mediterranean Organization Structure and Strengthening of Innovation Capacities for Sustainable Development) was focused on strengthening strategic cooperation between subjects in the field of economic development, representatives of national institutions and other organizations and environmental support agencies from the field of so-called innovations for sustainable development.
Ten partners from seven countries were participating in this project: Slovenia, Spain, Italy, Cyprus, Greece, Croatia, and Montenegro. The project was coordinated by RDA Green Karst
The project was focused on establishment within each region a pilot structure or programme that would offer support to participants with their realization of eco-innovations, whether by providing consultations or information, or in any other way whatsoever. They have been established as a necessity in the environment observed through the course of an analysis. The results of the project were:
- detailed comparative analysis of the existing situation in individual regions,
- review of good practices in the field of innovation for sustainable development,
- development of strategic and operating plans for establishing pilot structures in regions,
- development and integration of services within the information system and consultancy and
- education in the field of innovation for sustainable development.
The project was co-funded by ERDF, MED Programme.
