Green Karst Park is one of the products of the Green Karst Vision, which was set within the Eco-region management project (concluded in 2010). The objective of the project was to enhance the promotion of the Green Karst area and to develop joint regional promotion material for this purpose. Therefore, the following activities were carried out:

• implementation of a network of Visitor Centres across the region,
• development of promotional videos and
• other promotion materials (maps, brochures etc.),
• education of employees in tourism and the Green Karst brand users.

The project has been co-funded by the EU, within the Regional Development Fund.
