The project Managing eco-region was a developmental project of the RDA of the Inner-karst region (now the RDA Green Karst) and  six municipalities of the Inner-karst region (now the Primorsko-notranjska region). The project's objective was to develop strategic and operational foundation for encouraging the sustainable development of the Inner-karst region, thus contributing to the development and implementation of eco-region.

The project was co-funded by the EU, by the European Fund for Regional Development.
