The project Communication Support for Nature 2000 was directed to the attainment of four main goals:

• promoting the Natura 2000 areas,
• inserting  the preservation of biodiversity among key Slovenian developmental opportunities,
• developing and training of network of communication officers for promotion of Natura 2000 areas,
• including of relevant stakeholders in the subject of biodiversity preservation within Natura 2000 areas.

The project included various activities for attaining these goals.
