Classical music and services with the Interreg TARTINI BIS project

The main goal of the project is the preservation, evaluation, development and promotion of the cultural heritage of Tartini, his contemporaries and the time in which he lived. With the project we also want to contribute to the development of sustainable tourism in the program area.

The project will include research of cultural heritage and its usefulness for different target groups and the development of a cultural heritage tourism product with an emphasis on the design of the strategy of the TARTINI cultural-tourism product. It will contribute to programme challenges by exploiting the opportunities offered by the universal language of music. It enables the establishment of innovative synergies between the fields of culture, education and tourism promotion in the cross-border area. The aforementioned will enable new cultural development opportunities for local residents, as well as the valorization of the cultural and natural heritage of the project area from the point of view of tourism, the connection of tangible and intangible assets, and networking.

Activities:

• The creation and improvement of the common cross-border cultural-tourism product TARTINI ensures the preservation of cultural heritage and its promotion by cross-border linking of well-known tourist destinations such as Piran, Trieste, Padua, Ljubljana, Venice and branches to the north of Central Europe.
• Creation of online tools and digitization of heritage on the multilingual portal www.discovertartini.eu With this kind of innovative and accessible approach, we satisfy the need for information that is interesting for everyone interested in culture and tourism, especially in the areas of cultural heritage preservation and sustainable tourism development.
• Workshops for experts and tourism workers will offer knowledge on how to valorize cultural heritage and preserve it for future generations, and will additionally be aimed at promoting economic development from the point of view of tourism.
• Designing and improving the cultural-tourism product and strategy, in cooperation with partners and experts from the relevant sectors.
